This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop advanced improvisation techniques.
The unit applies to those who are musicians and who apply skills to compose or vary music spontaneously during performance in response to stimuli. They have highly developed skills in aural awareness and in the musical practice of a chosen genre or musical tradition.
