Application
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to understand and analyse basic harmony functions. This involves analysing the contribution of harmony to performance and compositional outcomes and using knowledge of musical elements to achieve harmonisation in short pieces.
The unit applies to those who incorporate a working knowledge of harmony and theoretical language of music into their own practice. They may be working as musicians, songwriters or music producers.
