CPPWMT3007 Process waste using plant

Application

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate plant to process waste. It includes identifying waste types, ensuring the absence of non-conforming waste streams and selecting and using suitable processing methods. It also includes following manufacturer instructions to operate processing plant, and monitoring plant gauges, warning devices, inputs and outputs to ensure optimal operation and safety.

A person who achieves this unit of competency is expected to take responsibility for completing these tasks with a high degree of self-direction.
