Application
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to prepare for, deliver and review travel training provided for people or groups who may require assistance to fully take advantage of public transport opportunities.
This unit applies across a range of community services and health contexts, wherever there are people who require information, skills and confidence building in order to use public transport for their day-to-day travel needs.
The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice.
No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
