MEMSS00002 Non-Destructive Testing - Level 2 NDT practitioner
Description
This Skill Set is intended to build on existing trade or technical qualifications. It covers the skill and knowledge requirements that may lead to certification against AS ISO 9712 – Level 2 in the following methods:
- penetrant testing
- eddy current testing
- ultrasonic testing
- radiographic testing.
The certifying body may impose additional requirements before an NDT practitioner can work in the field. Participants wishing to be certified against AS ISO 9712 – Level 2 should check full certification requirements with the Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing or other relevant bodies.
